It is a registered body of the Punjab’s Registered Clubs and Societies which are dedicated to the cause of promotion of sports activities throughout Punjab. The council has active support of more than 150 prestigious rural sports associations & clubs of Punjab. The council hold frequent meetings in Guru Nanak Stadium, Ludhiana. Sports dignitaries, Govt. officials and Olympians alongside the representatives of Rural Sports Association regularly take part in these meetings. The main agenda of all the meetings is always the promotion of sports activities particularly the Rural Sports of Punjab.
